How to reach Infosys Pocharam Campus via Ghatkesar?

Infosys has established its second campus  in Hyderabad at Pocharam village. It is said to be largest among all the other Infy campuses around the world. This SEZ (Special Economic Zone) campus which is also called as Prakriti Park is spread across approximately 447 acres.

Though not so useful for practical purposes, its official address reads like this:

SEZ Survey No. 41 (pt) 50 (pt)
Pocharam Village
Singapore Township PO,
Ghatkesar Mandal
Rangareddy District
Hyderabad 500088.

Because it is situated outside the city limits, Infosys offers transport facility only to its employees from all major locations in Hyderabad. It also has bus facility from Singapore Township for registered users. There are primarily two routes to reach the campus:

  1. via Uppal
  2. via Ghatkesar.

In this post, I will describe in short about reaching the campus via Ghatkesar.

Steps to follow:

  1. Reach ECIL X Roads Bus stop from your respective location.
  2. Board bus towards Ghatkesar (Route no: 281) and get down at Ghatkesar Main Road. It approximately takes 30-45 minutes to get there. You come across stops like Kushaiguda, Nagaram, Rampally in between. This bus is available for every half an hour.
  3. On the other side of the road, board any bus going towards Uppal. You can also engage service autos going towards Uppal if you like. Whatever it is, you should get down at Sanskruthi/Singapore Township stop. This will take a 10-15 minutes.
  4. Here we have a lot of service autos shuttling towards Infosys.  Though we have a TSRTC bus towards Infosys, it frequency is very less and can’t be relied upon (Check Edit).

Hope this helps at least some new joinees and others. If you have any questions, you can ask them here.

EDIT: We now have dedicated TSRTC buses from Secunderabad to Infosys at regular timings.
